Embodied has created an animate companion for children to help promote social, emotional and cognitive development.

Moxie encourages this development through everyday play-based learning and captivating content.

The studio assembled a team of experts in child development, engineering, technology, game design and entertainment to create Moxie.

The robot has machine-learning technology that allows it to perceive, process and respond to natural conversation, eye contact, facial expressions and other behaviour, as well as recognise and recall people, places and things.

In creating Moxie, Embodied collaborated with Yves Béhar’s renowned design and innovation firm fuseproject.

This project has been longlisted in the product design category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
