Taking place at Melbourne's National Gallery of Victoria, the Big Weather exhibition explores the sophisticated appreciation of weather systems that exist within Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Big Weather presents the work of over 50 artists from the NGV Collection, encompassing painting, photography, weaving and sculpture.
The exhibition highlights the role of indigenous designers and artists in sharing ceremonies and stories connected to the weather, ensuring they live on in future generations.
