A new building which provides facilities to support teaching, learning and access to knowledge as well as offering places to eat and drink.
Wellbeing is supported throughout and enhanced by a central water garden, gallery and a contemplation space.
The building comprises of four primary elements which are integrated into the sloping site. The linear building, the circular lecture theatre and the triangular roof sheltering the library are wrapped around a courtyard garden. The triangular roof also projects out over the piazza and protecting knapped flint wall which wraps the library and central water garden whilst guiding visitors into the reception.

This project has been longlisted in the civic building category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
