The new office building by Carsten Roth finishes a backyard development with a cube of moderate height.
The three storeys avoid narrowness in the inner courtyard and instead let in light and air.
The exposed masonry is unique and made of rumpled stone, first plastered several times and then sanded by hand. This creates a bright, lively surface that underlines the elegance of the harmoniously proportioned building and also accompanies the visitor along the stairs into the building.
This project has been longlisted in the business building category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
