The Lake House on Canandaigua opened in August 2020 providing the Finger Lakes with an active wellness retreat designed by Post Company.

Formerly known as Studio Tack, it was designed in collaboration with design collective The Brooklyn Home Company.

The hotel features a residential-inspired design and places an emphasis on sustainability, using power on site created from thermal energy both generated and stored in the Earth.

The interiors of the property's main house, communal spaces and guest rooms are reflective of the waterfront setting and the conservation efforts on site are matched by the purity of Canandaigua Lake.

This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short-stay interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
