C&C Design Co.,LTD has renovated a plant comprising real estate agents, bookstores, coffee shops, children's entertainment zone and a model display room.

The project is located in Guiyang, China, which was originally the Guiyang Bearing Plant. As an industrial site of the third-line construction of China, it carries precious urban imprints and collective memories.

Overlay urban renewal tends to pay more attention to the new and ignore the old. C&C believes that the preservation of old buildings is the respect for history and the preservation of the collective memory of a certain historical period.

This project has been longlisted in the civic and cultural interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
