Canyon House was conceived as a live/work residence for two young musicians who wanted to re-create their affection for Modernist Californian homes when renovating a dilapidated 70’s terrace in North London.
The house is divided into three distinct parts: a flexible upper ground floor living space and open kitchen for entertaining; calm, intimate sleeping quarters on the upper floor; and a professional, acoustically isolated writing and recording studio on the lower ground floor. Quality of design is at the heart of the house, from the choice of materials, to the creation of versatile, visually connected and enjoyable spaces.
This project has been longlisted in the small interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
