The Mayor's Garage is located at the end of private cobbled mews and its walls form the boundary of the adjacent Lucas Gardens.

In a previous life, the garage was rumoured to have housed the Mayor of Southwark’s Rolls Royce.

Youngman Lovell wanted to create a textured and light-filled space that flowed and created calm for the owners; a place to retreat to from urban life.

This project has been longlisted in the house interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
