The bakery S’Era is an artisan bakery, bread and pastry shop located in a small village in Mallorca.
Its way of doing things aims to give back to the baker’s trade values that are translated into three principles: using only high quality raw materials, reducing production to the demand level, saving as much materials and energy as possible, and concentrating its opening hours to the public to make life and work compatible.
Along these lines, for the project we wanted to use materials from the island that had fallen into disuse, combined with the design of the space.
This project has been longlisted in the small retail interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
