Specialising in unique, playful, family-led design, House of Kin developed a new interior identity and nursery that embraced the client's ethos and purpose.

Preserving the original character of the building, they re-designed standard Montessori materials, created a sensory room and a river themed play area to create a calm and inspiring learning and play space.

By balancing clean aesthetics, soft colours and simple lines with homely and interactive touches, the result is a unique, sustainably driven, nursery concept for children and teachers.

This project has been longlisted in the civic and cultural interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
