Our brief from Yotam Ottolenghi was to overhaul the current test kitchen situated in a railway arch into something sustainable, affordable and reconfigurable.
We worked on transforming Ottolenghi’s test kitchen (OTK), creating a multi-use environment, with desks/workstations, a professional kitchen, a photo studio and materials library – all with more usable space, daylight and flexibility.
We brought in natural light and renovated the kitchen area in stainless steel, contrasting this with a warm, colourful studio space by using a combination of natural and coloured plywood, giving this culinary space a joyful fresh feel.
This project has been longlisted in the small workspace interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
