Graphic designer Paula Scher is principal of the New York design consultancy, Pentagram.

Scher has designed identity systems, environmental graphics, packaging and publications for a wide range of clients that includes, among others, the Public Theatre, the Museum of Modern Art, the High Line, the Metropolitan Opera, Tiffany & Co., Citibank and Microsoft.

She has been the recipient of industry honours including the National Design Award and the AIGA medal. Scher has exhibited worldwide, and her designs are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, the Library of Congress, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and other institutions.
