Lord's Compton and Edrich Stands in London's famous cricket ground increase both capacity and accessibility.

Designed to encompass 2,500 new seats, the new Compton & Edrich Stands endorse the reputation of Lord's as international home of cricket and broaden accessibility on match days by providing open access seating for the general public (the majority of the ground is reserved for Marylebone Cricket Club members).

Access for the disabled is vastly improved at all levels, and catering and toilet facilities introduced where there were none previously. The stands complement the famous Media Centre without crowding it out, and views beyond the ground are still possible through considered spacing of the main elements.

This project has been longlisted in the civic building category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
