Kindergarten of Museum Forest is a kindergarten that is located in the first residential community built in Shenzhen in the 1980s.

This project aims to create a nurturing educational environment.

Rather than following a traditional matrix layout, the project intends to create a complementary geometric relationship between the new building and the site by a series of axes in different directions.

This format shields classrooms from the residential and main roads. The spaced-apart education blocks lend a smooth flow to the campus as a whole, together with the old building enclosing a large oval courtyard to hold various events.

This project has been longlisted in the civic building category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
