Atelier CNS designed the Flower Field Bamboo Pavilion in Foshan City, China.

This project is located in the centre of Xianmo Flower Field – a civic park with flowers as the main theme throughout.

Historically, due to the lack of shade, there was no place for visitors to rest and stay, which led to the extremely low utilization rate of the park.

The Flower Field Bamboo Pavilion combines parametric design with the traditional craftsmanship of low-carbon raw bamboo materials to create two sets of bamboo-structured landscape pavilions that provide visitors with a sheltered space.

In addition, the project can hold small events and gatherings, which in return, allows the Flower Field Bamboo Pavilion to become a multi-functional landmark.

This project has been longlisted in the landscape project category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
