Moxon Architects designed the Espérance Bridge in London, UK.

This project is one of the final public realm elements of the Kings Cross development in central London.

As their previous bridge development spoke of simplicity and elegance, Moxon Architects and Arup wanted to make a bolder statement with Espérance Bridge.

Drawing inspiration from the area’s industrial heritage, the Espérance Bridge’s articulation is expressive and sculptural, innovative and delightful.

The pedestrian-only bridge spans 25m over the Regents Canal to connect the wider site, provide residents with better access to public transport and serve as a distinct landmark to visitors.

This project has been longlisted in the landscape project category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
