Steve Jensen Design has designed John Hejduk: London Masque exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, United Kingdom
This project was the culmination of several months' work spent analysing and devising ways of translating the sketches of John Hejduk, especially the Widows House, into a structure and space where his work could be decoded and interpreted by the visitor and the four rotating micro-exhibitions throughout the coming year.
The Widow's House, the centrepiece and semi-permanent exhibit sits within a landscape defined by a horizon line, drawn around the gallery, forming Hejduk's world.
London Masque's display tables host structures, streets and places of translations from each exhibiting group, becoming a new landscape and world.
This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
