C&G Partners has designed the Native New York exhibition in New York City, United States.

This project reveals that New York is and always has been a Native place. The exhibition, a permanent experience in downtown "Manahatta" follows a literal trail, 400 miles long, through New York State and New York City and touches on five centuries of history.

Each stop teaches the history behind common myths, blending Native objects with interactive media, all wrapped in theatrical design techniques.

Across the Native New York exhibition, custom illustrations throughout the exhibit were commissioned from Native graphic novel creators, often directly paired with hands-on touchable elements drawn from each story.

This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
