Bisley has created a desk that transform from a sleek and stylish sideboard into a working, functional area.

The project is a flexible storage solution that combines dual function with a sleek design. Positioned as a sideboard suitable for small spaces in the home, it is designed to move out at 90 degrees to form a desk space when required.

The matt, velvety surface has anti-fingerprint features and a coating to provide resistance to abrasion, impact and micro-scratches. With a contrasting wooden laminate desktop, finished in either oak, maple, walnut, or shorewood, the design also conceals a hidden push-to open drawer with soft fabric lining to protect personal items, alongside a built-in USB, pin plug and cable management system.

This project has been longlisted in the furniture design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
