Zenius has designed Enso in Tokyo, Japan.
This project is a unique mask container that passes off as a casual bracelet or a chic interior product.
In 2020, the world has completely changed from what we have known, and we now wear masks every day like we wear t-shirts. The designers Zenius hoped to give people more freedom when wearing masks every day with the distinctive design of Enso.
"Our product's concept primarily is to support blending the 'unusual' into our 'usual' lives in the simplest manner," added Zenius. "In this case, Enso can support us [in] carry[ing] around surgical masks casually yet elegantly."
Enso is most certainly a mask container but can be interpreted as a casual bracelet or even a chic interior product. By creating more freedom and comfort for people using masks, the designers wanted to support people overcome these uncertain times with a touch of the Japanese Zen mindset.
This project has been longlisted in the wearable design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
