IA Interior Architects has partnered with Lundberg Design to design Google's Workplace at 237 Moffet Park Drive, California, United States.
This project, through technology and design, was once a dark, dated, three-building complex – a former R&D facility that launched one of the first supercomputers in the 1960s – has now been repurposed and transformed into a net-zero-carbon, symbiotic ecosystem.
The new workplace unites the built environment, occupants, and nature, by reimagining the workplace for user wellbeing, creativity, and a sustainable future.
A new addition to the Google campus in Silicon Valley, the project is certified on four petals (Materials, Equity, Beauty, and Place) of the Living Building Challenge and is the largest LBC Material Petal (250,000 square feet) renovation to date.
In addition, a LEED v4 Platinum, Zero Carbon certification is pending.
This project has been longlisted in the sustainable interior category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
