Studio Saar has designed Secure Sanand, a technology factory in Gujarat, India.
The project is a factory in India and has been designed for Secure Meters, an Indian multinational company.
It is a working environment for the use of cutting-edge technology and combines state-of-the-art engineering with a sense of space and a feeling of togetherness.
It was designed with a systems approach – the production process, use of materials, comfort and flow of the workforce were all brought together to create an environment that is energy and water neutral, with greenery and light at its core. It balances the disciplines of manufacturing with the release of free social expression, with separation between visitors, formal working and relaxation in the form of a canteen and recreation building alongside functional utilitarian buildings.
This project has been shortlisted in the business building category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
