Maat-Ontwerpers + Bart Lens has designed the Cycling Through the Heathland experience in Hoge Kempen National Park, Belgium.

This project is an extension of a tourism series of cycle paths throughout Belgium.

A brand new cycle path "Cycling Through the Heathland" has been created in the Hoge Kempen National Park and is ready to welcome visitors along its path.

On a bike path spanning 4km, visitors can cycle right through Belgium's only national park, before discovering a 300m-long wooden bridge that will take them up to beautiful panoramic views of the heathland.

This project has been shortlisted in the landscape project category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
