Dezeen reveals the world's 25 most captivating media projects shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2022
Dezeen has announced the media shortlist for this year's Dezeen Awards, which includes entries by Allies and Morrison, Coppakstudio and Note Design Studio.
The 25 shortlisted projects, which are in the running for awards in five different media project categories, are located across 13 different countries including India, Sweden, Malta, China and Australia.
The top three represented countries are the United Kingdom with seven shortlisted entries, followed by the Netherlands with five and then by China and France, which are tied with two each.
Five projects are shortlisted in each media category ranging from a film that documents the plight of young homeless people living in poor quality emergency accommodation to an interactive user experience for finding the ideal chair.
The shortlists were scored by our media jury, which includes digital artist Andrés Reisinger, editor-in-chief of WePresent Holly Fraser, architectural photographer Simone Bossi and filmmakers Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine.
All shortlists to be announced this week
The studio shortlist will be announced tomorrow as the final category of Dezeen Awards 2022 to be revealed. Architecture and interiors kickstarted the week, followed by the design shortlist on Wednesday and the sustainability and media shortlists today.
All shortlisted media projects are listed below, each with a link to a dedicated page on the Dezeen Awards website, where you can find an image and more information about the project.
The winner of each project category will be announced online in November. All five winners will then go on to compete for the title of media project of the year.
Vote for your favourite project next week
For the third year running, Dezeen Awards is holding a public vote after the shortlist announcements, meaning readers will be able to choose their favourite projects from 12 September onwards. Projects with the highest number of votes in their category will win a public vote award.
Winners will be announced in mid-October, ahead of the Dezeen Awards event in November.
