Dezeen Showroom: Neatcharge is a wireless charger by office furniture brand Humanscale that can be attached to the underside of a desk or flat surface to discretely power phones.

Humanscale developed the 13-centimetre-wide device Neatcharge as an alternative to traditional wired chargers, which it believes can clutter desks and take up too much space.

Designed to be used in the office or at home, the charger can be attached to the underside of the surface via double sided tape or screws.

Once the user places their phone above the charger, it turns on and begins using magnetic resonance technology to power the phone. Once removed, it immediately powers off.

"While conventional wireless chargers are required to be placed on top of the desk or between the furniture, therefore, permanently affecting the worksurface, NeatCharge seamlessly mounts underneath the desk or any tabletop," said Humanscale.

"This positioning brings power exactly where the user requires it, while keeping the workspace or living area free of additional clutter and cords."
