Mumbai-based Kamna Malik is an independent design curator and strategist.

Malik is former editor of Elle India and former curator of India Design ID. With a career spanning over 15 years across design, architecture, lifestyle, art, fashion and luxury, she has established her name in the Indian media and publication industry.

Malik has been associated with Elle Decor, Trends magazine, Time Out magazine and Downtown Design among others. Kamna has also been behind large-scale initiatives like Kohler Bold Design Awards, Elle Graduates, Elle Beauty Awards, Up Close & Personal Video Series and Trends Excellence Awards.

During her early years, Malik was involved with Akanksha, an NGO that offers educational development to underprivileged children. She is now associated with the Citta foundation, which has recently opened the Gyaan Centre and Rajkumari Ratnavati Girls School in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This centre utilises education, art and culture to help address poverty and increase gender parity.
