Sanjay Puri is co-founder of Mumbai-based eponymous practice Sanjay Puri Architects.
Winning the Architizer A+ Best Residential Firm of the Year Award 2022 and The LEAF Best Interior Project of the Year 2021, the firm has now won 342 awards. Awards won in the last seven years include eight Chicago Athenaeum Museum International Architecture Awards, 11 World Architecture Festival Awards, 17 Society of American Registered Architects Awards, 18 Architizer A+ Awards, 43 World Architecture Community Awards and five Hospitality Design Awards.
Founding partners Sanjay Puri and Nina Puri have won architectural projects in Australia, Spain, Montenegro, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman and Dallas in addition to projects in 40 Indian cities. With a portfolio of townships, schools, hotels, retail and office buildings, they continue to aim for innovative design solutions that are sustainable on a large scale.
Puri has been a judge at The World Architecture Festivals in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Singapore and Berlin. He has been on the jury of the Architectural Review Awards in London, Plan Awards in Venice, Inde Awards in Australia and has been a speaker at multiple architecture conventions worldwide.
