The Architecture BA (Hons) course at Leeds School of Architecture is ARB Part 1 accredited and RIBA validated.

The course challenges students to test the boundaries of architecture using creative means, where ideas are informed via research-led investigation.

Embedded in Leeds School of Architecture's ethos is the way we continuously question what it means to practice.

It is our determination to test and expand, through distinct frameworks of experimental and ethical pedagogy, architecture's possibilities and responsibilities within societies across cultural systems and towards the shared environmental and ecological domains.

Dynamic engagements empower students and academics to develop work that tackles the most pressing and polemical issues, including experimental practices, academic writings, technological innovations, laboratory and field works, live projects, pedagogical research, design and educational processes.

A critical design process is fundamental to all work, where ideas are posited, investigated and tested as a unified dialogue.

The integrated disciplines of practice, technology and theory are key to developing studio projects.

Students are encouraged to develop their own design agendas and specialisms as they progress through the course.

The Leeds School of Architecture also offers ARB-accredited and RIBA-validated Part 2 (MArch) and Part 3 (PG Dip) courses.
