Pashenko Works has extended and renovated the White Patio House in Camberwell, London, United Kingdom.

This project is an extension and renovation of an existing Victorian terrace house – conceived as a prototype for urban dense living – where Pashenko Works worked within a set of local but typical London constraints.

"Our concept embraced the 20 metres length of the site, arranging a sequence of characterful and connected spaces, which come together as a 'theatre' for intergenerational living and working," said Pashenko Works.

Fluid horizontal and vertical connections and long layered view lines unveil the possibilities for an experientially rich home within the context of congested cityscape.

The spatial quality is amplified through the predominant use of off-white tones throughout.

This project has been longlisted in the house extension category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
