Co.arch has created the Cesarin Show Kitchen in Montecchia di Crosara, Italy.

This project is a wooden theatrical space for show cooking inside a candied fruit factory.

"We are inside a factory that has been producing candied fruit for more than a hundred years in Valdalpone," said Co.arch. "[It's] an agricultural area between Verona and Vicenza famous for its Prunus Avium plantations, or cherry trees."

The intervention is on the first floor of a production building with a pitched roof – with an internal height of around five metres and double windows on the perimeter.

This project has been longlisted in the small project category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
