Fiona Lynch Office and Atelier Ace have created and developed Kiln at Ace Hotel in Sydney, Australia.

Kiln at Ace Hotel Sydney is a richly layered, immersive dining environment which was "inspired by the history of the site and local native landscapes, [making] the rooftop restaurant and bar uniquely Australian," said Atelier Ace.

Throughout the space, Australia's abundant natural materials and beautiful craftsmanship are evident in every detail.

A wood-fire hearth and open kitchen centre the space and radiate warm light throughout the dual dining rooms, bar and lounge.

Open-air terraces with retractable roofs open to the sky while windows on all sides frame rarely seen, captivating vantages of the surrounding city.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant and bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
