Adi Goodrich and Sing Sing Studio have created the Dreams project in Los Angeles, United States.

"Inspired by surrealist imagery, [we] dug into the notion of daydreams and used colour and material as a way to lead visitors through a surreal retail experience," told Adi Goodrich.

Guests walk through the space experiencing layers of colour and material – beginning with warm a warm peach colour for the apothecary, followed by sage green encasing custom bookshelves, ochre yellow and olive for the children's area and washes of blue for apparel.

"What pulls the visitors through the store is a massive custom-made blue boulder which sits underneath a glowing drop ceiling printed with a soft blue sky and billowy clouds," added Adi Goodrich.

This project has been longlisted in the retail interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
