Nice Projects worked with curators Hans Tan Studio, Jane Withers Studio and DesignSingapore Council to design the R for Repair installation at the V&A.
Nice Projects, Hans Tan Studio, Jane Withers Studio and DesignSingapore Council worked together to design an exhibition at the V&A for the London Design Festival 2022.
The aim was to design a simple standalone display to showcase repaired objects that had been given a new lease of life through 'creative repair' by different designers.
"We designed a bespoke display system that addressed sustainability through re-use and re-purposing of the core structural material," said Nice Projects.
Using everyday storage containers as the exhibition framework created a very literal interpretation of re-purpose, as all boxes were returned to the supplier for reuse at the end of the exhibition.
This project has been longlisted in the installation design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
