Marc Fornes / The Very Many have designed the Pavilion Nomad for the Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades exhibition.

Pavilion Nomad by Marc Fornes / The Very Many is an aluminium-clad intercontinental traveller stationed at the Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades exhibit in Palazzo Serbelloni as part of Milan Design Week.

Standing 4.8 metres tall and stretching 18 metres long, the Pavilion Nomad is a deployable millimetre-thin structure progressively assembled through a unified system of 1,679 parts and nearly 38,000 riveted connectors.

A single layer of collaborative structural elements and an ultra-thin architectural envelope are blended into self-supported shells which define the foamy silhouette of this globetrotting architecture.

This project has been longlisted in the installation design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
