Joan J Fortuny and Alventosa Morell Arquitectes collaborated to create the 54 Social Housing project in Inca.

The proposed proposal attends to two fundamental aspects: the correct insertion of the building in the urban and physical environment, as well as a solution that is a synthesis of the functional aspects of the program.

"The project strategies and work execution have allowed us to solve the housing emergency first and the climatic emergency," said Joan J Fortuny.

As a result, there was a 20 percent reduction of waste on theoretical production and a reduction of CO2 emissions from materials – 50 percent less compared to buildings with similar characteristics.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable building category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
