AtMa has designed the Prank Project Aoyama in Tokyo, Japan.

"The design inspiration for this project was explored through the playful spirits in [our] concept word, 'prank'," said AtMa.

The original architectural elements were taken apart and some of them were left based on the 'prank' point of view, integrating new elements through the design process.

Coexisting contemporary design furniture and fixtures that imply 'prank' elements and masterpieces of furniture – as well as preserved elements from previous interiors and new elements of the interior – tell a story in which ideas are sublimated into value.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable renovation category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
