Pangaia has created the Renu Jacket, a sustainable, limited-edition product.
The Pangaia Lab, powered by Evrnu presents the Renu Jacket, a limited-edition product created with 100 percent Nucycl®.
Nucycl® is a groundbreaking technology that transforms textile waste into brand-new fibres that can be recycled again when returned to the correct waste stream.
"Together, we pushed this technology further than ever before by making denim, a material traditionally made from 100 percent virgin cotton," said Pangaia.
"By translating Nucycl® into this iconic fabric construction dyed with natural indigo, we’ve proven to the industry that it’s possible to replace traditional materials with circular alternatives," added Pangaia.
This project has been longlisted in the material innovation category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
