Zaha Hadid Architects has revealed plans for a 330-metre-tall skyscraper as part of the Trojena ski resort at Neom in Saudi Arabia.
The building is set to contain shops, restaurants, exhibition spaces and observation decks at three different levels, and will have a crystal-like structure made of numerous columns that taper towards its peak.
This week's newsletter also included photographs of Diller Scofidio + Renfro's Blue Dream house in the Hamptons, an opinion piece by Reinier de Graaf about the term "placemaking" and Apple's unveiling of its updated lineup of smartwatches.
