Samsung has designed a foldable smartphone which unlocks different features at various angles.

The Galaxy Z Flip4 features expanded customisation, an upgraded camera experience and a larger battery in an ultra-compact design.

Its foldable form can be positioned at different degrees to activate features such as FlexCam, which allows users to shoot hands-free videos or capture group selfies.

The upgraded camera has a 65 per cent brighter sensor to ensure photos and videos are crisper and more stable, either day or night.

A key element of Z Flip4 is the Ultra-Thin Glass, a proprietary material that can be folded hundreds of thousands of times.

Designed for durability, it is built with strong materials such as Corning, Gorilla, Glass Victus+ and Armour Aluminium.

This project has been shortlisted in the product design (consumer design and wearables) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
