Armourcoat has designed Clay Lime Plaster, a biodegradable plaster made from natural materials.

Naturally sustainable, Armourcoat's clay lime plaster, Clime, has achieved IAC Gold status by incorporating abundant natural materials such as unfired clay, marble, limestone, and hydraulic lime making it 100 per cent cement and VOC free, biodegradable and recyclable.

Due to the material's versatility, it can be used in both homes and commercial buildings, withstanding the demands of busy interiors. Clime is beautifully aesthetic, bringing the outside in through its earthy natural pigments and textures. By gaining EPD classification, Armourcoat remains dedicated to its mission to improve the quality of living and working interiors whilst minimising the impact on the environment.

This project has been shortlisted in the sustainable design (building product) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
