Dezeen Showroom: created by designers Pio and Tito Toso for Italian brand Pulkra, the Dome range is intended to bring the austere beauty of concrete into the bathroom.

The Toso brothers' Dome collection consists of two bathtub designs — one square and one rectangular – as well as a sink, two shower trays and a pouf.

All of the products are made up of simple, impactful forms rendered in smooth concrete, with semispherical or capsule shapes intersected by a horizontal plane that forms a rim.

The designs take cues from the history of concrete architecture and nod to architectural vaults and domes.

"The language of Dome is clear and simple, a language we might call 'architectural' for how it exalts the material's beauty through pure volume," said Pulkra, which specialises in concrete products for the home.

The Dome bathroom collection is available in either a dramatic black or more classical white finish.
