Design practice David Weeks Studio showcases its new lighting pendant at rug brand Kasthall's flagship New York showroom during the city's design festival.

The 13-feet pendant, titled Scopo, was designed by founder David Weeks and features interlocking hooks to reflect the shape of a spine. The piece also includes a plumb bob containing whiskey.

Scopo was designed in Rome when Weeks attended a fellowship at the American Academy.

To celebrate the display, the brands are hosting an opening party from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on 18 May.
