Industrial Facility has designed the Bow Chair for Takt.

The Bow Chair is made with a combination of solid ply veneer oak wood – materials already used by Takt.

Plywood is used to form the backrest and arms in one continuous bowed surface and the seat with a waterfall edge.

Keeping the seat and back separate allows the chair to be shipped flat-pack – where its form is rooted in Danish lines and appears thoroughly modern.

The continuous flow of Bow Chair's pared-back, elegant forms belies the fact that the chair is designed to be delivered as individual components that can be easily assembled by the customer.

This project has been longlisted in the seating design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
