Lichtvision Design has designed the lighting for the Jil Sander Concept Store in London.

The new Jil Sander flagship store on New Bond Street is a monolithic space, seemingly sculpted from a single piece of stone.

The lighting design focuses on materiality, revealing diverse textures and enriching the sensory experience.

This approach creates an atmosphere rather than mere architecture, unifying the store's two levels.

The ground floor features soft, natural-like lighting, fostering a bright, airy ambience, while the lower floor enhances intimacy with subtly integrated lighting.

The overall strategy balances light levels with soft contrasts, highlighting products and ensuring a calm, elegant ambience without overwhelming the space.

This project has been longlisted in the architectural lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
