&Medical has created Mallow, a series of never-before-seen oval balance balls.
Mallow is more compact and takes up less space than a spherical balance ball but is stable enough to stand on its own.
The new oval form can be used vertically as a chair and horizontally for stretching and exercising.
Mallow aligns itself with the body's movement to provide posture support, allowing users to naturally strengthen their core while they work.
"We aimed to create a new standard for balance balls that adapt well to any space," said &Medical.
This project has been longlisted in the product design (health and wellbeing) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
