YOD Group has redesigned and transformed the Cukiernia pastry shop in Lviv, Ukraine.
This project is the reincarnation of the renowned Lviv pastry shop that drastically changed the interiors but preserved the DNA of the old place.
"We aimed to deconstruct its idea and reassemble it again, keeping only crucial values, but nothing else," said YOD.
"That is how we came to laconicism, monomaterials and eggshell bio-plaster."
The result is an airy and emotionally comfortable interior that does not distract attention from the main product – the legendary Lviv pastries.
This project has been longlisted in the restaurant and bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
