Vine Architecture Studio has redesigned and refurbished the interiors of Whitechapel Road in London, United Kingdom.

A top-floor Victorian warehouse conversion in East London to create a live-in workspace for a fashion designer.

"We wanted to show how live/work spaces could be configured and be beneficial for creatives and hybrid working more generally while injecting colour and material harmony into the space," said Vine.

This project involves extending into the unused loft to create a mezzanine bedroom and the full reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing workshop.

"We have specified natural or recycled materials and finishes for all surfaces to minimise embodied carbon and promote a healthy environment in a historical context," added Vine.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
