Katata Yoshihito Design has designed the interiors of Tojiro Knife Gallery in Tokyo, Japan.

This store is located in Asakusa, Tokyo, and is designed to provide a direct experience of Tojiro's unique worldview for customers from all around the world.

The maintenance room emphasises the spirit of craftsmanship and serves as a space for fostering communication aimed at encouraging customers to use the products for an extended period.

In addition, the store combines the tactile sensations of craftsmanship with Japanese cultural elements, such as lattice patterns and factory materials, to create a distinctive and unique environment.

This project has been longlisted in the retail interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
