British designer Faye Toogood partners with Italian furniture brand Poltrona Frau to create an installation in the brand's flagship London store.

The installation celebrates Poltrona Frau's Squash collection, which debuted at Milan design week 2024.

Titled A Squashed Place, the colourful, tactile and playful installation references Poltrona Frau's leather heritage, featuring folk-art motifs, wooden totems and irregular shapes suspended from windows and doorways.

The exhibition aims to explore traditional crafts, materiality and the balance between luxury and comfort.

A Squashed Place is on display during London Design Festival 2024, where visitors are invited to interact with the piece.

A Squashed Space installation takes place from 14 to 22 September 2024 at 147-153 Fulham Road, London SW3 6S, UK.
