Petit Pli has designed Knot-Tile®, merino wool children's clothing that "grows" with its owner.

Petit Pli has utilised novel knitting techniques to develop a soft, insulating and regenerative material through digital knitting technologies.

Knot-Tile® is made from 100% merino wool, where designs expand bidirectionally to custom fit through seven sizes as a child grows rapidly.

"[Our] mission is to promote responsible consumption through material technology," said Petit Pli.

Knot-Tile® also works as part of a layering system alongside Petit Pli’s existing weather-resistant outerwear range.

This project has been shortlisted in the textile design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
